SSL Gold MINI Cup – Model sailing competition in the pool of the Program Island at the Budapest Boat Show

You do know that the Shamans led by Zsombor Berecz won the first SSL Gold Cup regatta and the World Team Championship title? But what you may not have heard is that at the Budapest Boat Show you can not only meet the Shamans, but also experience the SSL Gold Cup sailing competition – in miniature, of course.Lássuk a részleteket:

  • every day between 11.00-11.30
• qualifiers:
  • Thursday 22 February 15.00 – 16.00
  • Friday 23 February 15.00 – 16.00
  • Saturday 24 February 15.00 – 16.00
•  finals:
  • Sunday 25 February 14.00-15.00
•  prize-giving:
  • Sunday 25 February 15.00-15.30

What you need to know about the competition:

• boats – Procelero remote control model sailboats (gold one design barges)
• races – UP&DOWN course, qualifying and final
• venue – Budapest Boat Show Program Island Pool
• weather forecast – depending on the wind machine setup of the Catamaran School 
• prizes – thanks to Ypsilon Yacht Club, the mother marina of Sirocco, for all rounds and finals. The final prizes will be awarded by: team world champion, chief shaman and captain of the federation, Zsombor Berecz
• contributors – sailors of the World Team Champion Shamans and students of the Catamaran School 
• broadcast – on-line on the Budapest Boat Show professional stage projector and on the community pages of vitorlázzitthon.hu and hunsail.hu
