EXPERIENCE

In addition to the traditional programs, visitors will be able to collect unforgettable memories through the following side events:

• Fishing tackle demonstrations (equipment, bait) in the giant aquarium
• Aranyponty Fisheries Museum – mini exhibition
• Roundtable discussions, book presentations, author signings
• Thematic professional presentations (introducing fishing centres)
• Prize draw
• Interactive games and programs such as a fighting simulator, pole fishing demonstrations, bait boat tests, casting track, and other skill-based challenges
• Interactive booths featuring national parks, ecocentres, and museums

FISHING

Fishing, fish farming, nature conservation innovations, and competitive angling achievements will be highlighted at FeHoVa 2026 through programs such as:

• MOHOSZ Agora, focusing on presenting Hungarian innovations
  MOHOSZ will once again showcase the latest products from domestic manufacturers this year, with awards given to the best products and the winner of the public vote. The list of companies and brands participating in the exhibition, which will be published in Agóra, can be found here.
• FeHoVa Innovation Award – Fishing Tackle Category, Best of Show competition
• Presentation of this year’s competitive angling results, meet & greet with champions and members of national representative teams across different disciplines
• Youth development programs with educational content
• Free fishing exam every day in Pavilion G! Advance registration with MOHOSZ is required for the exam.

FISH CONSUMPTION – FISH GASTRONOMY

Alongside fishing, fish consumption will also be in focus at FeHoVa, with programs promoting fish gastronomy, including demonstrations, tastings, and a renewed buffet selection:

• On-site demonstrations: easy-to-prepare, everyday fish dishes with tasting
• Food trucks offering fish-based specialties
