Hungarian State Treasury

The Hungarian State Treasury is an accredited institution responsible for the disbursement of payments from the agricultural funds of the European Union’s Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), including the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) and the European Agricultural Guarantee Fund (EAGF), as well as funds provided by the Hungarian budget.

Its main activities include receiving, reviewing, and adjudicating applications for sectoral agricultural support, disbursing support payments, and overseeing their utilization. It plays a role in implementing market regulatory measures, as well as carrying out agricultural damage mitigation and crisis insurance tasks.
