Access4you Certification
Hungexpo’s Main Building and “C” Building have been awarded the Access4you certification, confirming a high level of accessibility. Since 2019, Access4you has provided verified information on the accessibility of buildings, empowering individuals with special needs to lead independent lives. Achieving this certification required comprehensive on-site assessments and necessary infrastructure improvements, ensuring full compliance with accessibility standards.


ISO 20121 TanĂşsĂtvány

Hungexpo’s ISO 20121 certification attests to our commitment to organizing events sustainably, minimizing environmental impact, and adhering to social responsibility principles. This internationally recognized standard guarantees a transparent, ethical, and responsible approach to event management, fully aligned with GL Events Group’s sustainability commitments.
The scope of this certification includes enhancing energy efficiency, improving waste management, and supporting local communities. Our dedication to sustainability extends to our partners and visitors, ensuring that all events comply with global responsible corporate governance standards.
GL Events CSR Commitments
As a subsidiary of GL Events, Hungexpo upholds the group’s strict CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) commitments. In line with this, Hungexpo is dedicated to efficient energy management, improving selective waste collection rates, optimizing regional value creation, and developing a strong local supplier network.

Social Responsibility and Donations
At Hungexpo, we consider social responsibility and charitable giving not merely an opportunity but an obligation, recognizing our role in supporting those in need and contributing to a more sustainable future.
To minimize food waste, we collaborate with our subcontractors to ensure that surplus food from our events is distributed to families in need through charitable organizations, rather than being discarded. These donations are received with great appreciation. We are currently engaged in partnerships with the following organizations:
- Hungarian Charity Service of the Order of Malta
- Re-Forming Association
- Large Families’ Association of Ăšjpalota
- Hungarian Food Bank Association
- Caritas HungaryÂ
- Hungarian Reformed Church Aid
As part of our collaboration with the Hungarian Charity Service of the Order of Malta, we actively participate in the Sparkler Campaign each year. Our employees voluntarily fulfill the holiday wishes of disadvantaged children by purchasing gifts. For every gift package prepared by our employees, Hungexpo contributes an additional package, ensuring that even more children in need experience the joy of the holiday season.
Furthermore, it has become a cherished tradition that at Hungexpo’s Annual Christmas Partner Event, all proceeds from the charity raffle are matched by Hungexpo and donated to a selected charitable organization. In 2024, we proudly contributed 1 million HUF to the Nevetnikék Foundation, supporting the recovery and well-being of hospitalized children.
