HOMEDesign Autumn was visited by thousands of people
The HOMEDesign Autumn exhibition finished in HUNGEXPO Budapest Congress and Exhibition Center on Sunday. Exhibitors and visitors considered the event as a success since it attracted thousands of people in its three days this year as well.
HOMEDesign Autumn was visited by thousands of people in Pavilion H of HUNGEXPO Budapest Congress and Exhibition Center, where 60 exhibitors (including many foreign companies and organizations) showcased their novelties for the public. Just like in previous years, the professional programmes were jointly implemented by HUNGEXPO and its two trade partners; the Hungarian Wood and Furniture Industry Union (FABUNIO) and the Association of Hungarian Interior Designers. According to the data registered by the organizers, these programmes attracted more visitors than last year. One of the most popular programmes was the virtual tour created by the Association of Hungarian Interior Designers and VR Designer LAB, allowing visitors to “enter” the apartments designed at the exhibition.
Hungarian Wood and Furniture Industry Union FABUNIO’s “Wood Smart” professional conference enjoyed a full house with participants discussing the windows of opportunity for the wood and furniture industry. Many visitors attended the WOOD LIKE workshop to see the demonstrations of activities related to woodworking. WOOD LIKE After Pop Up, where FABUNIO’s award-winning designers showcased their works, was also popular.
The Romanian and Indonesian exhibitors, who presented their countries’ latest furniture industry products in collective stands, were also satisfied with the success of their Budapest campaign.
As one of the most popular programmes, this year’s HOMEDesign featured a series of panel discussions, organized by BOOOK Publishing House with such speakers as Bence Csalár, Piros Vágó and Bea Gáspár.
The next HOMEDesign exhibition will be held in the spring (March 29 – April 2) of 2023 in HUNGEXPO Budapest Congress and Exhibition Center, as part of the CONSTRUMA assortment of exhibitions that time.
