Put in numbers, this year’s 43rd AGROmashEXPO was the biggest and most comprehensive agricultural event in the country, showcasing many of the innovative products and services of the past and present. Based on feedback from exhibitors, AGROmashEXPO 2025 was a clear success. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Zsolt Feldman, <\/strong>Under-secretary for Agriculture and Rural Development of the Ministry of Agriculture (AM), spoke at the opening of the exhibition about the need to strengthen the climate resilience of Hungarian agriculture, and the government supports farmers in this. He said that the government would continue its agricultural support scheme to encourage the transition to precision farming. In 2025, 100 billion forints are planned to be spent for this purpose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Zsolt Feldman also pointed out that in 2024, Hungarian farmers, as well as those in the region, had to cope with a number of difficulties, including significant drought damage. It was therefore not surprising that the exhibitor turnout was less than usual, although they, as they put it, “see the challenges of the market situation as an opportunity and have decided to look ahead and expand their market relations”. In any case, the feedback was that those who came were definitely satisfied with the level of visitor interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

G\u00e1bor Ganczer <\/strong>referred to this in his opening speech, as well. Hungexpo’s CEO said “most people believe that AGROmashEXPO is not just a marketing budget line, but a highly profitable investment in the future.” According to the CEO, the other major partners of the exhibition, including the National Chamber of Agriculture, the Ministry of Agriculture and the Hungarian Association of Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers (MEGOSZ), thought so too, which is what made the largest agricultural show in Hungary a success, again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year’s exhibition also gave visitors the opportunity to meet several new foreign companies, including Slovenian, Turkish and German firms, and participants almost without exception found the event useful, with the majority of respondents reporting more successful business deals than last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year AGROmashEXPO was again accompanied by several important professional events.<\/strong> One of the highlights was the GOSZ Cropland Professional Day, organised by the National Association of Cereal Growers, the exhibition’s professional partner, which discussed the challenges, solutions and developments facing the agricultural economy. The Hungarian State Treasury informed farmers about opportunities for machinery procurement at another round table discussion. The organisers of the MEGOSZ event gave the title “Successful change is only possible with competitive machines”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The opening ceremony saw the presentation of the 2025 AGROmashEXPO Domestic and International Product Development Awards<\/strong>, with 2 entries winning grand prizes, 5 special prizes and seven receiving premium certificates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ABZ Innovation L30 LiDAR-equipped spraying drone from ABZ Dr\u00f3n Ltd. has been awarded the National Product Development Grand Prize in the mechanisation category. The developer’s booth was one of the most popular spots at the exhibition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Austro Diesel GmbH\u2019s Massey Ferguson 9S.425 Dyna-VT Exclusive tractor has been awarded the International Product Development Grand Prix in the mechanisation category. The Special Domestic Product Development Award in the Mechanisation category went to Optig\u00e9p Ltd. for its Cylinder Drying System for Sunflower Adapters and Patento Product Development Ltd. for its Patento Grain Dryer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The KUHN SMART SOIL TECHNOLOGY (SST) for OPTIMER short discs by KUHN Mez\u0151gazdas\u00e1gi G\u00e9p Kft. has been awarded the International Product Development Special Prize in the digitalisation category, while in the mechanisation category the Special Prize went to the Amazone Cirrus Grand 9004 combined seeder by Amazonen-Werke Kft., as well as the Cimbria Sea.IQ Plus optical classifier by CHH M\u0171szaki Kft.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
