The exhibition\u2019s accompanying professional programme will once again address the most pressing issues facing the environmental sector, including changes in the regulation of industrial emissions, water-conscious solutions and responses in the age of climate change, the future of waste management, trends and opportunities in remediation and brownfield investments, as well as environmental challenges affecting Central and South-Eastern Europe and possible solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Following its successful debut in 2024, the event returns this year with an even stronger international focus. Speakers will include representatives from the European Environment Agency (EEA), the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the International Solid Waste Association (ISWA), among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Thanks to Hungary\u2019s geographical position, the country naturally serves as a meeting point for Central and South-Eastern Europe. The Czech Republic will be the guest country of the 2026 exhibition. As one of the region\u2019s most advanced environmental industries, it will present its latest technologies, innovations and best practices through companies arriving as part of the CzechTrade delegation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The full spectrum of the environmental industry under one roof<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n A defining feature of ENVIRONTEC is that it brings together the entire environmental industry value chain in one place \u2013 from waste management and water technologies through remediation, energy efficiency and measurement & analytics, to the latest green technology developments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Built around a practical approach, the event will provide a platform not only for exhibiting companies, but also for start-ups, universities and research institutions to present their innovations on stage, helping accelerate the journey from development to real-world implementation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The event is co-organised by the Hungarian Association of Environmental Enterprises. Its key professional partner is the Hungarian Water and Wastewater Association, while the National Association of Waste Management Companies supports the event as a professional partner. The Hungarian Export Promotion Agency will support business networking among participating companies through an international B2B matchmaking programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The first ENVIRONTEC welcomed 100 exhibitors from eight countries and more than 3,000 professional visitors.
