With the help of their photos and wines, they strive to present as best they can the wine tourism services they offer their visitors in Tokaj.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About R\u00e1k\u00f3czi Winery & Events<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Heritage site, is the R\u00e1k\u00f3czi Winery and Mansion in the main square. This building currently belongs to the Tokaj-H\u00e9tsz\u0151l\u0151 (\u201cseven grapes\u201d) vineyard. The cellar, which was built at the beginning of the 15th century, has been proudly owned by monarchs, princes and generals over the centuries. The grandiose knights\u2019 hall (28m long, 10m wide and 5m high) is the largest underground hall in the wine-producing region, and has served as the venue of such momentous events as the election of John Szapolyai in 1526. The recently reintroduced Tokaj Knighthood of Wine has selected the R\u00e1k\u00f3czi Winery as the venue of its meetings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cozy, guided wine tours, wine-related events and weddings are now hosted there. The Mansion above the cellar includes a modern, elegant wine bar and terrace where you can sit and enjoy a glass of wine or a refreshing wine spritzer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About Etyeki K\u00faria<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Etyeki K\u00faria Winery<\/strong> was founded in 1996<\/strong> on \u00d6reg-hegy in Etyek. The winery has earned its reputation through a balanced combination of respect for tradition and innovation. It was the first in the region to plant Pinot Noir<\/strong> for varietal winemaking, a grape that has since become a defining element for both the winery and the wine region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their head winemaker, S\u00e1ndor M\u00e9sz\u00e1ros<\/strong>, joined the team in 2009<\/strong>, shaping the wines\u2019 distinctive style by combining local expertise with the latest research and modern winemaking approaches. Etyeki K\u00faria\u2019s wines and sparkling wines have received numerous national and international awards<\/strong>. The backbone of their broad portfolio consists of Pinot Noir wines<\/strong>, the S\u00e1ndor M\u00e9sz\u00e1ros Project wines<\/strong>, and sparkling wines<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About K\u00faria Sopron<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

K\u00faria Sopron Winery<\/strong> began its operations during the 2024 harvest<\/strong> and is part of the same \u201cK\u00faria Family\u201d<\/strong> brand as Etyeki K\u00faria. Grapes have been cultivated on the Sopron Wine Region<\/strong> estates since 2006<\/strong>, where the winery has successfully introduced Blaufr\u00e4nkisch (K\u00e9kfrankos)<\/strong> and Merlot<\/strong> wines to the market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The head winemaker is S\u00e1ndor M\u00e9sz\u00e1ros<\/strong>, who has already left a significant mark on the Hungarian wine scene. In recognition of his professional achievements, he has been nominated among the top 50 candidates<\/strong> for the prestigious Winemaker of Winemakers<\/em> professional award every year since 2013<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Tornai Winery<\/strong> is one of the iconic family estates of Soml\u00f3, where tradition and modern thinking form a natural harmony. The estate places great emphasis on cultivating ancient Hungarian grape varieties. Their family-run winery celebrates its 80th anniversary this year, as Endre Tornai began grape growing in Soml\u00f3 in 1946 on a modest 0.8-hectare vineyard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
