PRESS RELEASE

The exhibition, which had 10 thousand professional visitors last year, functions as a meeting point and business forum for the members of the business sector, not just in Hungary, but the entire region. This year’s motto of Automotive Hungary is: The Engine of Your Future. Its theme covers the entire spectrum of automotive manufacturing from design to construction and provides a superb opportunity for tracking automotive industry trends.

The exhibition will feature the key operators of the Hungarian automotive industry: automotive production plants, TIER1, TIER2 and TIER3 suppliers, service providers related to the sector, national organizations and the collective stands of associations representing the trade. The range of exhibitors will include the most important operators of the sector, including ThyssenKrupp, Bosch, Flex, Continental, Knüppel, KUKA, TRUMPF and ZF Hungária. These will be joined by new exhibitors from Germany, South Korea, Italy, Switzerland and Taiwan.

Traditionally hosted simultaneously with the AUTOMOTIVE exhibition, the AUTÓTECHNIKA-AUTODIGA professional exhibition will be hosted under the title of New Workshops, new habits. On this occasion, the most significant professional forum of the automotive repair and maintenance industry will function as a workshop, where participants can familiarize the latest technologies, get acquainted with the device and garage equipment distributors servicing the domestic supplier and automotive repair industry, as well as the representatives of vocational training.

This year, 215 exhibitors from 12 country will attend the event.

Business, science and career

Apart from the manufacturers and suppliers, the effectiveness of the automotive industry also depends on research and development and professional training. For this reason, business, science and career are still the three pillars of the exhibitions. The schedule of the AUTOMOTIVE HUNGARY exhibition and the professional conference hosted during the event tie in with these themes.
The most outstanding events include the discussion on intelligent vehicles hosted by the Ministry for National Economy and edubiz 2017, a partner meeting and symposium on resource development and future planning in the region.
One of the highlighted subjects – with three conferences devoted to the theme – will be the use of 3D technology in car design and development.
Organizers will host discussions on the increasingly pressing issue of the lack of experts in the face of the spread of electric cars and the training of electricians.
